2. Scope of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to products and services offered by SKRATCH.EU, including mobile and desktop applications (collectively the “Services”), the website http://skratch.eu, and other websites operated by SKRATCH.EU (the “Websites”), as well as all related interactions (e.g., customer support contact, user conferences, etc.).
This Policy does not apply to third-party applications or services (“Third-Party Services”) that may be integrated with the Services, nor to other products or activities of third parties.
Additionally, the provision of Services may be subject to a separate agreement (“MSA”), which governs, among other things, the processing of data provided by the Client within the Services (“Service Data”).

3. What data SKRATCH.EU collects

SKRATCH.EU may collect or receive data in various forms, including:
Service Data: data submitted by Clients and Authorized Users in the course of using the Services.
Data from Third-Party Services: when external applications are connected (e.g., single sign-on), user data such as email or login may be transferred.
Contact data: provided by users during account registration (e.g., email address).
Third-party data: information about companies, industries, or marketing campaigns obtained from partners or data providers.
Additional information: provided during contact with us, participation in events, recruitment processes, or online activities.

4. How we use data

SKRATCH.EU uses Service Data in accordance with the MSA and applicable law. SKRATCH.EU acts as a data processor, while the Client acts as the data controller.
Data may be used, in particular, for the following purposes:
providing, updating, and protecting the Services and Websites,
communicating with users (support, notifications, technical information),
developing new features and improving existing services,
marketing purposes (with the option to opt out of promotional communications),
billing and account management,
preventing abuse and ensuring legal compliance.
If data is anonymized or aggregated, it may be used for any business purposes.

5. Data retention

Client data and credentials are stored for up to 365 days after account closure, unless a request for earlier deletion is submitted.
Job applicant data is stored for up to 3 years.
Website visitor data is stored in accordance with our Cookie Policy.

6. Data sharing

SKRATCH.EU may share data with:
Authorized Users within the Client’s instance,
external service providers supporting the operation of the Services (e.g., servers, data storage),
external services enabled through Client integrations,
affiliated entities (subsidiaries, corporate groups),
in the event of corporate changes (mergers, asset sales, reorganizations),
in anonymized or aggregated form,
public authorities where required by law,
for the purpose of preventing fraud, abuse, or defending the rights of SKRATCH.EU,
with the user’s consent.

7. Security

SKRATCH.EU applies technical and organizational measures in line with industry standards to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee 100% security of data transmitted or stored.

8. Age restrictions

In accordance with applicable law, individuals under the age of 16 may not use the Services or Websites of SKRATCH.EU. If we become aware that such a person has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the Services. Continued use of the Services after changes means acceptance of the updated Policy.
